On a cold snowy weekend this past January, Don Tredinnick was cleaning out a desk drawer and came across some old CRG announcements. Don showed them to me and Russ Mazzeo. I though we would share them with you in this newsletter. See how many names and places you can remember as we did.

In March of 1971, The Connecticut Rubber Group presented a 10 session technical course entitled "Manufacturing Operations in the Rubber Industry". The course sessions ran for 5 consecutive Mondays starting on March 1. The time was 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the place was the Armstrong Rubber Company Conference Room, 500 Sargent Drive in New Haven, CT.

A $10.00 fee covered the entire course. Technical representative from participating companies presented films and slides showing the techniques involved in the manufacture of the subject products. Each lecture was 45 minutes with a 15-minute discussion following each session. The Education Committee Chairman was Harold Herzlich. Before each session, members of the committee and quest speakers meet for an early dinner at Steak & Brew at Long Warf near Armstrong.
